CAYE Pacific Network Launch

The agenda for the launch will be as follows:

1. Opening remarks. This opening remarks section would also include a video message from the Secretary of the Commonwealth (Patricia Scotland) to congratulate us as a team and touch on other thing. The opening remarks agenda item would be led by Sushil (Programme Manager from the Secretariat).
2. Value Proposition Walk Through. In this section of the agenda, Zac and I will walk through the Value Proposition Statement for CAYE Pacific and summarise what it is we are looking to achieve with CAYE Pacific and how we look to achieve it.
3. Commonwealth representative formally confirms the creation of CAYE Pacific. A representative from within our region of the Commonwealth will lead this section of the agenda by discussing it more from a strategic at the political level and formally confirm that the network has been stood up. This could possibly be led by a Minister/s or diplomats, and will most likely be that of Honorary Consul James Harris  from Vanuatu and/or Ambassador Strickland who is the High Commissioner of Samoa.
4. Panel Discussion of 3-4 team members. This section of the meeting would be a panel discussion with 3-4 individuals and a mediator who will have questions, and may also take questions from attendees of the soft launch. The topic of the panel discussion will be entrepreneurship in the pacific, what your personal experiences were with starting a business or social enterprise and what challenges you faced. It will also be an opportunity to discuss what opportunities you think CAYE Pacific will be able to provide to youth in the pacific from your personal perspectives. Zac will be conducting the role of the mediator.
5. Closure. Agenda item 4 above would be the final topic of discussion, and then closure of the soft launch would take place. There might be an additional message for closure from the Secretary herself. The closure will be led my Sushil from the Secretariat.
